The PRICER method collects information in two ways:
  • Simulating purchases in experimental stores to evaluate exactly how pricing impacts customers' decisions and how price hikes or cuts influence shoppers' behavior.

  • A Brand Price Trade Off that measures how the individuals studied use brand/price.


Using this data, Pricer draws up the brand/price uses from the trade-off to translate them into real-life shopping behavior.
This new set of uses shows how price influences real-life shoppers' decisions and can be used to simulate all types of price scenario.
